In all my years of offering QuickBooks help to people, I see over and over again the frustration, anger, and even the sense of betrayal people feel when their bookkeeping is not going well.

Do you get tired of sitting in front of the computer, inputting data and running reports? Maybe you're just not sure which screen to use and when to use them, and maybe your reports don’t look right... but you can't figure out why.

You've probably thumbed through one of those QuickBooks help books - there are lots of them out there, and new ones come out every year. These how-to guides are great, but let me ask you something:

You can download bank activity, credit card transactions, PayPal transactions, etc., automatically into QuickBooks., eliminating duplicate entries and errors. 

• Not fully using QuickBooks and synced QuickBooks add-ons to optimize your accounting processes.

Properly installing all the available QuickBooks technologies will make your accounting systems easier, better faster and best of all…cheaper!

• Not printing checks or using the online bill pay feature. 

Not only is it inefficient to hand write checks, but you then have to enter them into QuickBooks anyway. Do it right the first time!

• Not timely reconciling your financial accounts. 

Timely reconciling all bank accounts, credit cards and all loans is the single most important thing you can do in QuickBooks and ensures you are capturing all financial transactions

• Not taking advantage of memorized transactions. 

Use memorized transactions to reduce data entry. You can use it to memorize and quickly enter daily sales journal entries, recurring automatic checks, bills, credit card transactions, invoices and much more
