O'Bryant missed several scoring opportunies as Gemma was in rebound control under the net.
"It was a game of two halfs. We knew they would throw everything they had in the second half and they started scoring some points. My girls kept their composure very well," said Fontbonne Coach Clare Murphy.
"It's not easy playing these games on the road - this is kind of new for my kids. We are glad to be moving on, especially after such an emotional win the other night against Oliver Ames. I know the girls leave everything on the floor. I'm so proud of them. We are moving on and want to keep it going," said Murphy.
Fontbonne will now face the undefeated No. 1 seed Scituate Sailors in a semi-final match. The location and time yet to be announced.
