MIAA Division 3 Track Championships

Oliver Ames High, Easton, Mass, May 27, 2011 – On this day Milton High’s boys and girls outdoor track team competed in the MIAA Division 3 Championships at Oliver Ames High School. The event was a competition against the best in Division 3 that included 36 High Schools. This event was also used to determine who would compete in the All State Meet, Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Bridgewater University.

Milton had several highlights during the meet that included metal winners in several events. Metals were given to the top eight finishers. 

Girls metal winners included:

400 Meter Dash - 6^th, Niki Cremman, 60.35

800 Meter Run - 2^nd  Mairead Kiernan, 2:20.8 (Double Metal Winner)

100 Meter Hurdles – 2^nd  Olivia Beaulieu, 15.47 (Double Metal Winner)

400 Meter Hurdles – 2^nd Molly Dempsey 68:55

4x800 Meter Relay Team – 6^th  Emma Greenwalt, Mairead Kiernan, Julia O'Brien, and Angelica Pizzi.

Girls High Jump -Tied for 2^nd place  Olivia Beaulieu  , 5-00’

Boys metal winners

400 Meter Dash – 8^th Justin Trafford 52.26
