Milton and Needham Play to Scoreless Tie

Soccer Milton v Needham

On October 12, the Milton Wildcats boys soccer team (4-6-2) played host to the Needham Rockets (8-2-3) for an exciting afternoon of soccer.

The game would go the full two periods without any score as each team had several good opportunities, but the goalies kept the game scoreless.

As the game was winding down Needham was on a full press to score, but Milton's Nate Breslin made several key saves.

"The Needham team are one of the best teams in the state", stated Milton Coach Mike Madden. "I had a lot of concerns, but the boys today showed they can play with anyone."

Next up for Milton is a game at Natick on Friday. The game starts at 3:45 p.m. The last time the two teams met Natick won the game in the last 45 seconds. "We have an opportunity to avenge that loss on Friday," stated Coach Madden.
