Milton Beats Norwood in Volleyball Home Opener

Milton High, Copeland Field House, September 5, 2012. Milton’s Lady Wildcats kicked off the volleyball season with a hard fought win against the always tough ladies from Norwood.

The Mustangs quickly took the lead 16-25 in the first game before Milton came back wining the next two games 25-22 and 25-22.

Norwood came back in the fourth game 13-25 tying the series.

Milton’s Team Captain Caitlin Griffin rallied the team and Christine Murphy finished the game, 13-15, with her deciding kill against Norwood.

It was a much needed win for the Wildcats to start off the season.
