Milton Loses to Weymouth 35-7 in Season Opener

The Milton High School football team opened the season at Weymouth on Friday.

On September 7, 2012 Milton High’s varsity football team opened the season away from home playing at Weymouth High School. 

After an hour delay because of a threatening storm the game got underway around 8 p.m. By halftime the Weymouth team held a 14-0 lead. 

During the second half, Milton had several opportunities to score, but were denied by the Weymouth defense.

As the game was winding down Weymouth held a 35-0 lead. 

With little time left on the clock, Milton’s only score came off a throw from second string quarterback Alex Toias to Chavinskee Milcent, preventing a Weymouth shutout.

Milton plays Newton North on Friday, September 14 at Brooks Field, Milton. Game time is 7 p.m.
