Random Thoughts

This past week has been such an emotional rollercoaster. The horror of the bombing, grief for all the victims and their families, has been a new low. Then we look at the selflessnes, the goodness of all the everyday people who instantly sprang into action to help those who were so badly wounded - the people who lived the "how can I help" attitude and it fills me with a feeling of peace and gratitude. In my life I would say they were and are "doing God's work". No matter how you see it or what you call it I think we have all been touched by the spirit that transcends us all.
The question so many of us are left with is why - why these seemingly ordinary boys were motivated to do such a thing to other human beings.
