Join us inside the mansion for a cozy afternoon of music featuring violinist David Eure and pianist Alexei Tsiganov. The duo will perform an eclectic program rooted in the jazz tradition that draws on Brazilian, Latin, soul, R&B, blues, funk, and classical influences.
Doors open at 4:00 p.m. for refreshments and time to explore the house museum, which is included in the ticket price. The concert is from 5:00-6:00 p.m.
David, who teaches at New England Conservatory’s Preparatory School and Continuing Education departments, has performed with such diverse musical personalities as Yuseef Lateef, Taj Mahal, and Wayne Newton.
Since coming to the United States in 1991, Alexei has performed with many top jazz musicians. He currently is a member of the Boston jazz institution Either/Orchestra, and he teaches at the New England Conservatory.
