Hyde Park man skips court hearing

[Name Removed] failed to appear in court for an arraignment in Quincy District Court on charges of driving an unregistered motor vehicle and a number plate violation to conceal. A judge issued a default warrant. The charges stem from a Aug. 10, 2011 in incident in Milton where police observed a black Hyundai Elantra without its headlights on, on Blue Hill River Road. Police stopped the vehicle and found [Name Removed] had no registration for the vehicle.

Court dismisses assault case against Milton man

George E. Foster, 51, of 36 Concord Ave., Apt. 2, Milton had a charge of assault with a dangerous weapon dismissed in Quincy District Court. The charge stems from a Jan. 7 incident in Milton at 9:20 a.m. when police responded to a report of a father pulling a steak knife on his daughter during an argument.

Assault and battery case continued in court

Krishna S. Mansingh, 25, of 39 Truman St., Brockton had a charge of assault and battery continued to Aug. 10 in Quincy District Court. The charge stems from an April 5 incident in Milton at 7:19 p.m. when police responded to 143 Blue Hill Ave. for a report of a domestic disturbance in progress. Police alleged Mansingh pushed a woman by her neck as he tried to remove items from the house. The woman was hit up against a wall, knocking off an earring, police said in the incident report.
