The Friends of Milton Crew, a non-profit organization which was formed to bring rowing to Milton High School students, is hosting a fundraising and informational evening on Wednesday, February 16.
The event will help with the capital costs of starting the Milton High Crew Club, which the group hopes will someday become a varsity team. The club hopes to have boats in the waters of the Neponset River this spring.
The Friends need to raise $18,000 before the end of the month to qualify for a $36,000 state grant. If you can't make it to the event, but would still like to help, send donations to:
