A Sprint dealer was entered sometime before Sunday morning after someone smashed the store's front door.
Milton Police continue to investigate a breaking and entering incident that was discovered shortly after 10 a.m. on the Fourth of July. The front door of the Sprint dealer at 450 Granite Avenue was smashed with a baseball bat and entered by unknown subjects.
Deputy Chief Charles Paris said someone enter through the broken front door. The subject or subjects scattered envelopes, spare change and deposit slips around various rooms of the store while also displacing chairs.
Paris also said a drawer was apparently pried open in an effort to find valuables. It was unclear how the intruders left the store, but officers noted a side door was left open.
