Jennifer Kimball at the Milton Art Center on December 6
Local singer-songwriter Jennifer Kimball once blazed the stage with Jonatha Brooke in The Story. Now she brings her own songs to Milton.

Jennifer Kimball is no stranger to Bostonians, but her name resonates on the national stage due to her work with Jonatha Brooke in The Story, a folk duo formed after they met at Amherst College. Signed to Elektra, the Story immediately created a sensation with songs displaying “witty wordplay and sumptuous harmonies.” (The Washington Post) Since The Story disbanded, Jennifer has released several critically-celebrated CDs and recorded with the Wayfaring Strangers and Session Americana.
The Milton Art Center is located at 334 Edge Hill Road in Milton, MA. In its brief existence as a non-profit it has enriched the town by offering art classes, staging exhibitions, and serving as a source for events such as the Halloween Stroll and Art-in-the-Windows.
It also hosts a successful Open Mic night at the end of each month.
