Milton High School Hosts MSTCA Division III Outdoor Relays
Both the boys and girls of Milton won races at the multi-team meet
The Milton High School girls finished second at the MSTCA Division III Outdoor Relays on their home track on Saturday, May 15. The boys team finished in ninth place.
The event, which has been at Milton High for five years, is a true relay meet. All events, even those in the field, are adapted to become relays. Twenty-five girls teams and 28 boys teams competed in the event.
The Milton girls relied on consistent medal stand visits to earn 42 points. They ended behind Bishop Feehan-Attleboro, which had 57 team points.

Milton won the 4x100 shuttle hurdle. The team of Oliva Beaulieu, Kate Madigan, Cheryl Tran and Janelle Corley ran successive 100 m hurdles in a time of 1:05.85.
Tran and Beaulieu also finished first and second respectively in the high jump competition.

The Milton girls earned silver medals in the 4x1600 relay and the 1600 sprint medley.
In the 4x1600 relay, Bishop Feehan won with a time of 21:48.43, followed by the team of Olivia Collins, Emily Lynch, Mairead Kiernan and Emily Hughes at 22:16.41.
In the 1600 medley, Beaulieu and Kiernan were joined by Emily Lawler and Kristen Cockrell to earn second place with a time of 4:21.19.
On the boys side, Milton earned 23 points on their way to a ninth place finish.
With a time of 45.09, Mitlon won the 4x100. Matt Lezama, Shamar Wells, Kemari Jones and Adrian Donahue took the gold.
Wells and Lezama joined Darner Alerton and Stephen Manning to earn second in the 1600 sprint medley at a time of 3:42.49.
