Milton Man Accused of Carrying Prescription Drugs in Hingham

Hingham police say a Milton man had 12 Percocet and an 8 milligram Suboxone in his pocket when he was busted for speeding on George Washington Blvd. last Sunday.

A Milton man will appear back in court in August after he was arrested and charged with possession of two different prescription drugs in Hingham last weekend.

arrested Christopher Maull, age 45 of 27 Austin Road, Milton after they allegedly found him with 12 Percocet and an 8 milligram Suboxone in a routine traffic stop on Sunday morning just after 11:30 a.m.

After Hingham Police stopped Maull’s green Nissan Altima for speeding on George Washington Blvd, Officer Jeffrey Kilroy noticed the driver to be reaching down towards the floor and around the interior of the vehicle, a police report confirmed. Police also said they notice him to be moving fast and reaching and bouncing “frantically” around the front of the vehicle.

After police ordered him to exit the vehicle, Maull appeared nervous and police found the drugs in his pocket, the court document stated. Maull admitted he could not provide a prescription for the Suboxone and told police he was trying to stop taking them because how they make him feel.  Maull said he had a prescription for the Percocet but was unable to name the pharmacy in which prescribed him the drugs and was later arrested, police said. The suspect also received a civil town citation for possession of under once ounce of marijuana.

Maull was released from court on $150 bail and had his case continued without a finding until August 12.
