Milton Teens Face Charges for Knifepoint Robbery

Three Milton teens were arrested Friday evening after allegedly attempting to rob another male at knifepoint in .

Geno Bejamin, 17, and Caleb Joseph, 17, both of Milton, along with a 16-year- old from Milton are charged with attempted robbery. Joseph and the 16-year-old are also facing charges of assault with a deadly weapon, a knife.

According to the , a 911 caller reported a group of teens fighting on Convalescent Road, which runs through Cunningham Park, at 5:47 p.m. on July 6.

Police determined that the three teens met another group of four on the road. During this meeting, the three suspects attempted to rob one of the other people.

According to Deputy Chief Charles Paris, the suspects fled the scene in a vehicle. They were found a short time later on Belvoir Road.

Paris said that the act was not random and the groups were familiar with each other.
