Police Log: Recycling Bins Disturbed, Open Container Violation

  • At 12:15 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported an unknown vehicle struck her vehicle on Eliot Street.
  • At 2:49 p.m. Thursday, State Police reported a downed wire on Brush Hill Road. The wire was a cable wire. Comcast was notified.
  • At 9:55 p.m. Thursday, a 911 caller reported youths knocking over recycling bins in the area of Morton Road and Canton Avenue. An officer spoke with the parents of the parties involved.
  • At 10:20 p.m. Thursday, an officer reported a vehicle on the side of Brook Hill Road with youths causing a disturbance outside. Several youths were FIO’d and picked up by their parents. One party was cited for open container violations.
