Three People Robbed After Responding to Phony Craigslist Ad
Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Tuesday night on Randolph Avenue.
Milton Police continue to investigate an assault and armed robbery last night at 694 Randolph Avenue that occurred when three people responded to a Craigslist ad for a flat screen TV.
According to Deputy Chief Charles Paris, around 5:30 on Tuesday evening three individuals went to the Randolph Avenue home to purchase the TV, which they saw advertised on craigslist.com. One individual went to the door and was brought into the house at gunpoint by two black males while the other parties waited in the car. The first person was pistol whipped and robbed.
The suspects then went to the car and brought the other two parties into the house at gunpoint. Both of those individuals were robbed and one was pistol-whipped.

By the time police arrived, the suspects were gone. The home is under foreclosure, according to Paris, and no tenants are listed for the first floor apartment.
The victims were treated at the scene.
