Whiz Kids: Milton Squirt B Hockey Team

Accomplishment: The Milton Squirt B hockey team won three straight games before winning the Championship of the Needham Youth Hockey February Tournament. The entire team played well in the four-day tournament at St. Sebastian’s.

 Key to Awesomeness: The team won hard fought games over Needham (3-2), Weymouth (4-2) and the undefeated Spitfires (3-0). Milton faced off against the Spitfires again in the championship game where they won 3-1. In the finals, John Carey, Genevieve Connelly and Jamie O'Brien all found the back of the net. Goalie Christian Wilson and defensemen Liam McGourty and Ryan Hoey held down the defense for Milton. 

Milton is in third place in the South Shore Conference, and with three games left in the regular season, will be headed into the South Conference playoffs at the end of the month.
