This Earth Day, support your local North Shore park!
Join the Clifton Improvement Association and the North Shore Amateur Astronomy Club to explore the sky above Beach Bluff Park & Preston Beach. This event is open to guests of all ages.
Here are some sights you might see:
- Double star systems
- Quadruple and larger star systems
- Open clusters (collections of 100 to 1000 stars in our galaxy)
- Globular clusters (collections of hundreds of thousands of stars that orbit our galaxy)
- Nebula (exploded stars as well as star forming regions)
Event cost: $25 per car
Pre-registration preferred. Cash or Venmo will also be accepted on-site.
Your ticket supports Clifton Improvement Association's conservation and maintenance efforts for Beach Bluff Park and Preston Beach.
