2 Natick High School Students Positive For Coronavirus
The parent of the Natick High School students tested positive for coronavirus over the weekend, according to officials.

NATICK, MA — Two Natick High School students have tested positive for the new coronavirus, COVID-19, but the district is not planning to close the school because the students have been under quarantine for more than a week.
The students are the children of a Natick resident who tested positive for COVID-19 over the weekend, according to officials.
"The presumptive positive students have not been in contact with any students or staff since their family-initiated quarantine in the week prior to the situation coming to our attention," the district said in a joint statement with the Natick Board of Health." The family has been monitored by the Natick Board of Health and contacts of the presumptive cases have been and will continue to be monitored in accordance with Massachusetts Department of Public Health and Center for Disease Control guidelines."

It's important to note, the parent and the students have tested "presumptive positive" for COVID-19, which means that the CDC has not confirmed the test result. Natick High School was also cleaned on Friday and Saturday, and received a deep-clean on Sunday.
On Tuesday, state officials said that 92 state residents have tested positive for COVID-19 so far. Forty-one of those cases are in people who live in Middlesex County. Gov. Charlie Baker has declared a state of emergency in Massachusetts due to the growing number of cases.
