Big Changes in Natick Routes Starting by Weekend

A new configuration is happening with Natick streets.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation is modifying the intersection of Route 9 (Worcester Street) and Oak Street in Natick overnight on Thursday, Nov. 19, by restriping the intersection and updating the signals.

Effective Friday, Nov. 20, at 7 a.m., traffic traveling on Oak Street approaching Route 9 will be directed to follow the new traffic configuration in place.

This intersection improvement project redesigned Route 9 and Oak Street to a standard four-legged signalized intersection with left-hand turn lanes, said the announcement.
