Patch Adams Speaks on 'The Joy of Caring' in Natick

NATICK, MA—When his 1998 book Gesundheit! was made into a movie starring the late Robin Williams, Patch Adams became a household name. The physician, activist and clown believes in combining those skills to treat patients by using love, humor and creativity. He believes it's as important as traditional medicine.

On Sept. 27, from 12:30-3 p.m., at the Verve, Crown Plaza in Natick, Adams will speak on "The Joy of Caring" and help all of us to tap into the "the magic and power of care."

Tickets are $10 each. Light refreshments will be served. Space is limited, preregistration required.
