Vigil for Orlando Victims Held in Natick

An interfaith vigil for prayer, reflection and action, is planned for Natick this weekend.

NATICK, MA—The Common Street Spiritual Center is calling for the community to come together for an interfaith vigil.

The vigil, held on Sunday, June 19, at 7 p.m. on Natick Common, is a call out to everyone "after a week of devastating news out of Orlando to invite our community to come together to comfort one another, to find strength in solidarity, and to move forward as a community to do our part in restoring health to our broken society."

This vigil will "not just be about thoughts and prayers, which are important", but also about reflection and taking action, said the announcement. Leaders from the LGBTQ and Muslim communities will speak, as well as other community leaders.
