WATCH: Police Seek Jewelry Thieves

A group, possibly from Worcester, allegedly ripped off a Natick jewelry store.

NATICK, MA — Natick police are looking for a group of people, possibly from Worcester, they say stole watches from a local jewelry store.

On March 16, a young couple came in to a local jewelry store and talked to the clerks in a conversation about his and her watches. Trying to divert the attention of the clerks, the two took a $325 Michael Kors watch and passed it to a third person who had come in later. The employee then followed the third person, who met up with a woman and passed it off again.

Security was not able to catch up with any of the individuals and the call to the police was delayed, said police. Although not confirmed, it is believed this group is from the Worcester area.
