WATCH: Drought Claims Tree, Takes Out Two Telephone Poles and Wires in Natick

NATICK, MA—As of Monday afternoon, Natick resident Peter Hawtrey said, "there are still wires all over the street."

Living at 11 Crescent St., Hawtrey shared with Patch this footage that shows a tree taking out two telephone poles overnight. The tree, apparently, had weakened because of the drought.

"The power company repaired the broken telephone poles and re-instated power but RCN, Verizon and Comcast have done nothing so there are wires everywhere," he said.

The footage was taken from a security camera at 11 Crescent St.
