After stepping away from the sport for a period of time following the 2012 Olympics, Raisman proved she is well on her way to returning to the top come the Rio Summer Olympics in 2016.

Raisman started off the competition with a few mistakes during her balance beam and vault routines. She gathered herself and finished strong, capturing a bronze medal for her efforts at the event.
