Art Association to Host Watercolor Artist

Needham Art Association to host demonstration by watercolor artist Marla Greenfield

Award winning watercolor artist Marla Greenfield will present a demonstration for the Needham Art Association on Tuesday, October 6 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Needham Library, 1139 Highland Avenue. The event is free and the public is invited to attend.

Marla Greenfield’s paintings are known for their realism, use of light, luminosity and rich darks. She is a signature member of the American Watercolor Society and the New England Watercolor Society where she has served as President and Vice President, and board member. Her work is on display at the Wit Gallery and Canyon Ranch in Lenox, MA and at Florentine Frames and Gallery in Weston, MA. Marla teaches watercolor classes in Lincoln and Weston MA. For over 60 years the Needham Art Association has promoted an interest in the arts, provided art instruction and encouragement, and annually exhibited hundreds of works by local artists. The Association gives a yearly scholarship to a graduating Needham High School student, and is dedicated to bringing beauty to Needham and demonstrating that art is for everyone.
