The Dedham American Legion Band, Post 18 is back again in Bourne at the Massachusetts National Cemetery!!

DALB, Post 18 joined Bourne, for their annual Memorial Day Ceremony which had people from all over attended!!

The Dedham American Legion Band, Post 18, in their 4th Season, performed at The Memorial Day Ceremonies in Bourne held at The Masachusetts Cemetery on Sunday, May 29th. It was their 3rd time performing at the ceremony and was the 41st performance of this young band. It was a very well attended ceremony people came from all over massachusetts and other parts of the country. The Dedham American Legion Band, Post 18 is a volunteer band founded in October of 2012 by David Zablatsky and Jeanette Berger. The band’s mission is to promote patriotism, the US military and Veterans’ organizations. This goal is achieved through serving the local communities by providing live music for various venues while providing opportunity for personnel and musical growth of its members. The membership consists of men and women who enjoy music. The Band is seeking musicians, color guard and support members, middle school age and above. Openings exist in all sections. No auditions necessary. Uniforms, music, percussion, sousaphones provided. Other instruments can be provided as well. American Legion eligibility is not required.
