Public Information Session on NSTAR Maintenance Plan

The Needham Board of Selectmen will hold a public information session on Tuesday, July 10 regarding NSTAR's maintenance and landscaping of right of way routes in town.

The purpose of the meeting is to allow representatives from NSTAR to outline their plans for managing growth, including the possible removal of trees, near the electric transmission lines within their Right-of-Way.

In Needham, NSTAR’s electric transmission line generally follows the railroad tracks from the Dover line to the West Roxbury line.

The public information session will be held at 7:45 p.m. in the second-floor Powers Hall at .

Residents will be given the opportunity to ask questions about the proposed work during the session, which will be held as part of the board's regular July meeting.
