Garlick Campaign Acknowledges Endorsement Error in Flier

The campaign to elect Denise Garlick issued a statement on Saturday acknowledging that a piece of literature they created incorrectly lists a NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts endorsement.

A flier was hand-delivered to Needham residences on Sept. 11 declaring a Garlick endorsement from the pro-choice group. While NARAL has officially endorsed other candidates across the state, such as State Rep. Alice Peisch and District 9 candidate Stanley Nacewicz, it has not selected a favorite in the 13^th Norfolk race. News of the error prompted a statement from the Garlick camp.

"Due to a misunderstanding, the Garlick campaign listed NARAL's endorsement on a single piece of campaign literature, hand-delivered to some Needham homes on September 11, 2010 and apologizes for the error," wrote campaign manager Alex Garlick on the official Denise Garlick for State Rep. blog.
