Garlick, O'Leary Winners in Primary
Both candidates will face one another in November.
Denise Garlick, Democrat, and John O'Leary, Republican, are the winners in their respective races for State Representative.
Garlick defeated both Jerry Wasserman and Gary McNeill in the race, with Wasserman just 228 total votes behind the current Selectwomen. Garlick received 2,798 votes in Needham, Dover and Medfield, compared to Wasserman's 2,570 and McNeill's 653.
In the Republican race, O'Leary is the winner with Joshua Levy calling to concede around 8:45 p.m. O'Leary picked up 1,690 votes to Levy's 652.

Democrats

- Needham: Garlick with 2,310; McNeill with 653; Wasserman with 2,336
- Dover: Garlick with 180; McNeill with 58; Wasserman with 122
- Medfield: Garlick with 308; McNeill with 64; Wasserman with 112
Republicans
- Needham: Levy with 345; O'Leary with 1,189
- Dover: Levy with 190; O'Leary with 314
- Medfield: Levy with 117; O'Leary with 187
