Hear the Pawsitivity: A Benefit Concert for the National Education for Assistance Dog Services (NEADS)

On June 19, 20 & 21, 2015 over 120 students from the Plugged In Band Program will be showcasing their talents and rocking and rolling to raise awareness and funds for NEADS. This session 40 student bands will be playing over three days to show the community that music can be a vehicle for positive change!

$5 for students
$10 for seniors
$15 for adults
Tickets are sold at the door only. Cash or check.

Concert T-Shirts and CD’s will also be available for sale. All proceeds from the sale of shirts and CD’s go directly to NEADS.

What Is NEADS?

NEADS is the National Education for Assistance Dog Services, also known as Dogs for Deaf and Disabled Americans. NEADS provide independence to people who are Deaf or have a disability through the use of canine assistance.

NEADS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was established in 1976. Their assistance dogs become an extension of their handlers and bring freedom, physical autonomy and relief from social isolation to their human partners.

More than 1,500 Assistance Dog teams have gone through the NEADS training program since 1976. NEADS is accredited by Assistance Dogs International, the internationally recognized governing body that establishes industry standards and practices.
