Host Family Needed for a student Bolivia!
Please open your heart to AFS Foreign Exchange Student Edgar from Bolivia!
The Massachusetts Bay Area Team of AFS Intercultural Programs is looking for a family to host an amazing young man from Bolivia for the remainder of the school year (April to June 28, 2016).
Edgar is from Bolivia and will turn 17 at the end of April. He is determined, curious, and inquisitive with an interest in math and science. He is taking all 11th grade honors and accelerated courses plus Art II. He is planning on doing a spring sport and is deciding between playing water polo or track for a spring sport. He has a good command of English, and it continues to improve.
He enjoys watching educational and cultural videos on YouTube, reading and playing video games. Edgar asks questions that cause us to think and learn right along with him. Because he has been diligent in his studies, we want to him continue with his academic experience at Needham High School. Edgar will thrive in a home of “empty nesters” or in a family that enjoys long conversations about societal differences.
