Local Businesses Can Help Send Local Kids to Summer Camp
Through YMCA's Local to Local Program.

Thanks to the generous support of Salem Five Bank, Marcum, LLP , the United Parcel Service and individual donors, two Needham youth will have the opportunity to enjoy the life changing experience of overnight summer camp this season. The local businesses joined forces though the partnering Charles River YMCA’s and YMCA of Greater Boston Overnight Camps Local to Local program and raised $4,000 for two, two-week scholarships to the YMCA of Greater Boston’s Pleasant Valley and Northwoods overnight camps on New Hampshire’s Lake Winnipesauke. The children were selected by the Needham Housing Authority to receive this experience.
The YMCA of Greater Boston’s Local to Local Program brings together businesses and local youth to make summer camp a reality for kids in need.
