Man Calls Police to Take Away His Toy Army Gun
The following are excerpts from the Needham police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Nov. 24
- At 11:30 a.m., police pulled a vehicle over on Great Plain Ave. near Central Ave. A 39-year-old woman from Attleboro was issued a summons for uninsured operation of a MV and opening a MV after revoked registration.
- At 1:20 p.m., police made an arrest. Valerie Gibson, 24, 68 Prospect St., Canton, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class A controlled substance, possession of a Class B controlled substance, and possession of a Class E controlled substance
- At 3:32 p.m., police responded to a report of a dog bite on Evergreen Road. A 10-year-old boy had been bitten and the dog was placed under mandatory quarantine.
- At 6:03 p.m., police responded to Acapulcos for a report of a B&E into a car. Two vehicles had windows smashed and items were taken from the seats.
- At 9 p.m., police responded to a call from 85 Robinwood Ave. A resident said he wanted police to take possession of his toy replica M-1911 Army Model Pistol. The police took possession of the pistol.
