MIAA Basketball Tournament: Needham Boys Earn 3 Seed

NEEDHAM, MA - The Needham Rockets are set to make a run at the basketball state title as the 2016 MIAA Division 1 South pairings have just been announced.

Finishing the regular season with a record of 17-4, the third-seeded boys’ basketball team will start their postseason run with a first round showdown against No. 14 Durfee at Needham High School on March 2 at 6:30 p.m. The winner will face the winner of No. 6 Quincy vs. No. 11 BC High in the quarterfinals.

The winner of the Division 1 South tournament will play the winner of the North bracket for a shot at the state championship.
