Millis Man Stabbed By Son Speaks Out
Police say Benjamin Walsh stabbed his parents and his girlfriend was found dead in his Needham home.

NEEDHAM, MA — A Millis man stabbed by his own son is speaking out for the first time since Saturday's incident.
Mike Walsh and his wife were attacked by their son Benjamin Walsh while they were at a family function at Primavera in Mills Saturday night. The attack left Mike and his wife seriously injured and witnesses had to hold down Benjamin while waiting for police.
A short time later, officers went to Benjamin's Needham apartment on Marshall Street for a well-being check and found his girlfriend dead from stab wounds.

Walsh told WFXT that he's concerned that his son is out of his mind and believes that Benjamin will be devastated when he realizes what he did. He said that his son has a history of mental health problems and substance abuse, but he never thought his son would stab his parents and girlfriend.

Benjamin faces charges for the Millis incident and is scheduled to be in front of a Wrentham District Court judge Monday. He has not been charged in the Needham incident, but Norfolk County District Attorney Michael Morrissey said Sunday that the death is being investigated as a homicide and they expect him to be arraigned in Dedham District Could soon.
