We're kicking off the new Zullo Gallery Culture Club Series with the Art of Latin Jazz featuring celebrated Venezuelan trombonist Angel Subero&nbsp;and Latin Logic.Subero has performed with numerous orchestras, including Boston Symphony Orchestra, Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra, Boston Ballet, Venezuela Symphony and Simon Bolivar Symphony, to name a few. He is also head of the Brass Department at Boston Conservatory at Berklee. 
In the realms of jazz performance, he has shared the stage with Aretha Franklin, Slide Hampton, Jim McNeely, Claudio Roditi, Danilo Pérez and Chris Botti. With Latin Logic, he mixes old-school salsa, Latin jazz and Afro-Caribbean rhythms, drawing on his native Venezuelan culture and the diverse backgrounds of his members. Joining Angel will be an ensemble of Latin musicians on piano, percussion and drums!
Our community collaborator for this event is Medfield Cultural Council. The Council has supported numerous Zullo programs over the years and most recently helped to fund the sound system for live music.Thanks to a generous grant from the Medfield Foundation Inc. Legacy Fund, we’ve established two pricing options to ensure the event is affordable for all.
