Needham Football Ranked Among Top Division 1 South Teams
Expectations are high down at Needham High School.
NEEDHAM, MA — The Needham Rockets look to be in the mix for the MIAA Division 1 South championship this season.
With a new football season around the corner, the Boston Herald ranked the Rockets fifth in their Division 1 South preseason top eight. Last year, the team went 8-3 and made a run to the Division 2 South final.
With realignment taking place this year, the Rockets have been moved up a division and face stiff competition from top-ranked Xaverian, Catholic Memorial, BC High, Brockton, Newton North, Braintree, and New Bedford.
