At 22, many thought Raisman would be too old to compete in gymnastics. But the Team USA captain, nicknamed "Mama Raisman," put on one of the most impressive performances of the competition. She captured a gold medal in the team competition and won silver in the individual competition and floor exercises. Both silvers were behind teammate Simone Biles.
Raisman's six Olympic medals are the second most for gymnastics. Shannon Miller ranks first with seven.
