Needham Police Log: Drug Possession, Malicious Destruction, and More

The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

April 22

10 p.m. - Officers responded to a Rosemary Street address for a report of an unwanted party. Upon arrival police were met by the reporting party who stated they wanted the unwanted party off the property because they broke the building door. Police observed the broken building door. Timothy Collyer, 18, of Needham, admitted to breaking the door and was placed under arrest for malicious destruction of property.

2:30 a.m. - Officers responded to a West Street address for a noise complaint. The resulting investigation determined the parties at the residence were all were under the age of 21, were consuming alcohol, and did not have permission to be in the residence. As a result, a 19-year-old Babson Park woman will be summoned to Dedham District Court for breaking and entering with intent to commit a misdemeanor and furnishing alcohol to a person under 21. Multiple pieces of stolen property were also found in the residence, as a result, two 19-year-old Needham men will be charged with receiving stolen property. One of the men will additionally be charged with possession of a false license.

1:30 p.m. - An officer on patrol in the area of Hillside Avenue observed a blue pickup truck traveling with canceled plates returned. The vehicle was stopped and the operator Louis Nizzari, of Needham, was arrested and charged for attaching number plates on a motor vehicle, possession of a controlled substance (Suboxone), and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license (subsequent offense). The vehicle was towed from the scene.
