Needham Police Log: Falling Trees, Stolen Jewelry, and More

February 28

10:30 a.m. - Officers responded to a disturbance between neighbors at Charles River Landing on 2nd Avenue. A woman complained of a male party running down the apartment hallway with a dog, knocking on doors. Both parties agreed to stay away from each other and no charges have been filed.

9:30 p.m. - Officers were dispatched to a Roscoe Street address for a report of a past breaking and entering. It occurred sometime between Friday and Saturday evening. Jewelry items were stolen. This incident is still under investigation.

February 29

11:15 a.m. - A Linden Street resident told police that the person in the apartment next door had been harassing her. The housing authority was notified and she was advised to call if she was harassed in the future.

March 1

3:00 a.m. - An officer was dispatched to a home on Harris Avenue for a report of a tree landing on the roof of a residence. No injuries were reported and DPW was contacted to remove the tree.
