Needham Teen Selected for USA Football U-16 Select Team

NEEDHAM, MA — A Needham teen will have an opportunity to take on international American football competition next month in Arlington, Texas.

Needham High School student Odahri Hibberts has been selected to the USA Football Under-16 Select team. The team will face off against Team Alberta at the International Bowl at AT&T Stadium on Jan. 17. U.S. Select Teams are considered to be secondary to the national squads and are created when there are opportunities to play additional games against international competition, according to USA Football.

Other local players on the team includes Kyle Hess of Bridgewater-Raynham, Weymouth resident Nicolas Tardanico of Archbishop-Williams, and Boston resident Tyler Woolf of B.C. High School.
