Needham Volleyball Remains Best in State, Lacrosse Teams Dominate Polls
Both lacrosse teams have qualified for postseason play and the volleyball team remains the best in the state.
NEEDHAM, MA — As the homestretch of the regular season nears, three Needham High School teams are guaranteed tournament play when the postseason starts later this month.
In the latest polls, the 10-2 boys lacrosse team was ranked fifth in the Boston Globe Top 20 and seventh in the Boston Herald EMass Top 25. On the girls side, the 10-3 Rockets moved from sixth to third in the Boston Globe Top 20 and second in the Boston Herald EMass Top 25.
Finally, the volleyball team remains undefeated at 15-0 and sit at the top of the Boston Globe Top 20.
