Adam London is a senior at Needham High School with a passion for music and art. He has actively pursued these passions to the benefit of others.
For over seven years, he has volunteered and participated in the Plugged In Teen Band Program. He has performed as vocalist and bass guitarist in over 35 shows and benefit concerts. These shows have raised funds for organizations such as Greyhound Friends, the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, Bikes Not Bombs, and helped to fund research for brain tumors, cystic fibrosis, and other worthy causes. Adam has also used his passion for music to plan and perform in a music concert for the NHS organization RADD (Rockets Against Destructive Decisions) which was held at Needham Town Hall

Adam has worked as sales associate for music and pop culture store Newbury Comics for over three years. In the summer, he works at Waterville Valley Skate Park in New Hampshire where he helps young campers develop their skateboard skills. At Woodward Skate Camp in Pennsylvania, Adam was the recipient of the “Tap” award, given to one camper chosen for outstanding skill improvement and best attitude. Adam’s creativity, friendliness, and willingness to help others are recognized in all the work he endeavors.
Adam studied in the intensive four-year art program at Needham High School and plans to attend Massachusetts College of Art and Design in the fall of 2016. He also plans to continue to volunteer and perform musically.
