A New Kind of Computer Camp

Empow Studios is pleased to offer kids in the Needham area a new summer technology camp option - the Minecraft Edition, which offers a week of game design, world creation, exploration and modding madness. Kids who love Minecraft - or are just curious about what it’s all about - will build virtual worlds while also testing game mechanics in the real world (an outdoor game of capture the flag, for example) and craft their own Minecraft gear using customized paper craft and other supplies. Minecraft Edition is available 6/29 and 7/27 in Lexington; 8/3 in Needham; 7/13 in Easton; and 7/20 on Cape Cod. www.empow.me/camp
