Newton-Needham Chamber Looking to Host Gubernatorial Debate

The Newton-Needham Chamber of Commerce has cancelled its upcoming Gubernatorial Election Meet & Greet Series, originally scheduled to take place at Olin College and Mount Ida College, respectively.

Both Timothy Cahill's July 19 appearance and Charlie baker's Aug. 9 talk are no longer scheduled.

According to Lynnette Best, the Chamber's program and events coordinator, the Chamber is looking to host a debate with all three candidates, including current Governor Deval Patrick, in lieu of them speaking sperately, "which would take place in early September."
