Police Log: Drug Distribution Near School, Smashed Window, and More
The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned do not imply conviction.

April 4
4:30 p.m. - Officers responded to Trader Joe's for a report of a female party who was at the business in violation of a past verbal no trespass order. The suspect was spoken with, advised not to return to the business, and left without issue. A written notice of the no trespass order will be provided by Trader Joe's management to the suspect.

3:50 p.m. - Officers responded to a car crash at the intersection of Dedham Avenue and South Street. As a result, a 39-year-old Medford woman will be summoned to Dedham District Court for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
9:00 p.m. - An officer responded to a Pheasant Street address for a reported fraud. The victim stated that she received a letter in the mail from Verizon indicating that she opened an account with four phone lines. She reported this activity to the fraud department within Verizon. She was advised to set up a fraud alert detection with a major credit agency.

April 6
10:15 a.m. - An Officer was flagged down by a reporting party in the Catz Gym parking lot on 4th Avenue. She stated that her vehicle had been broken into. While speaking to the reporting party, police observed another vehicle with the rear window also smashed in. After speaking with both owners it was discovered that their purses and credit cards were stolen. Currently, there are no suspects and the incident is under investigation.
11:00 a.m. - An officer responded to Gold Fish Swim on 4th Ave for a report of two motor vehicles that had been broken into. Detectives responded and processed the scene. The incident is currently under investigation.
230 p.m. - An Officer conducted a traffic stop on Hillcrest Road for operating with a revoked registration. Dispatch confirmed that the vehicle was revoked and the operator was suspended. A 53-year-old Needham man will be summoned to court for operating with a suspended license and operating with a revoked registration
April 7
4:45 p.m. - The Needham Police Department, with the assistance of NORPAC Detectives, executed a search warrant on Rosemary Street. The search warrants were obtained as a result of an investigation. Frank Andrews, 29, Needham was arrested on scene without incident. He was charged with possession of a Class C drug (Vicodin) in a school zone, possession of a Class B drug (cocaine) in a school zone with intent to distribute, and possession of a Class A drug (heroin).
