Police Log: Tree Falls on House, Car Fire, and More

April 7

5:00 p.m. - An officer was dispatched to a Noyes Street home for a report of a tree falling on the roof of the home. The building inspector was advised of the situation. No one was injured from the weather damage and the owner of the property was advised of the situation.

April 8

11:10 a.m. - An officer was doing a security check on a B Street address when police observed a motor vehicle with two different registration plates on it. After further investigation, it was determined that the rental company had accidentally attached two different plates to the motor vehicle. The operator was advised that one of the registration plates had to be seized. All Needham Units then cleared the scene.

7:30 p.m. - Officers responded to a car fire in the Chapel Street parking lot. Fire arrived on scene and extinguished the fire. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
