Six Needham Rockets Named To Boston Globe All-Scholastic Teams
Girls lacrosse coach Beth O'Brien was also named the Division 1 Coach of the Year.

NEEDHAM, MA — Six Needham Rockets are among the best athletes in their sports, according to the Boston Globe.
The paper recently named senior Sam Eisenstadt of the boys lacrosse team; senior Sarah Conley and senior Kendall Milligan of the girls' lacrosse team; junior Davonte Burnett of the boys track and field team; and senior Brady Orozco-Herman and junior Eli Wallace of the volleyball team to their sports' All-Scholastic teams.
Eisenstadt, a first-team All-American and Bay State Conference MVP, scored 14 goals with 8 assists while playing defense. He will play at UMass-Amherst next season.

Conley led the girls' lacrosse team with 79 goals, and will play lacrosse for Richmond next year. Milligan led the Rockets with 48 assists, and also scored 38 goals. She'll be a member of the Trinity team next year.
Girls' lacrosse coach Beth O'Brien was also named the coach of the year for a 23-3 campaign that ended with a state championship.

On the track Burnett won the 100-meter dash title at the All-State and New England meets, running 10.63 and 10.48. He also won the state 200-meter dash title with a time of 21.36.
In volleyball, Orozco-Herman earned 344 kills and posted a .317 hitting percentage. He will attend Bates in the fall. Wallace picked up 902 assists, 37 kills and 31 blocks during the 2017 campaign.
